Joseph Christopher Pritchett COKER Joseph Christopher Pritchett, age 78, of Coker, died Dec. 29, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 12 noon Wednesday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor David Kelly and Rev. Bobby Sanford officiating. A private family burial will follow with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Pritchett; his parents, Purnell "Doc" Pritchett and Avis Pritchett; his brother, David E. Pritchett; and his sisters, Mary Lou Boothe and Dorothy Jean Boothe. Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Jo Booth (Derrill); his sons, Douglas Mark Pritchett (Nell) and Joseph Bart Pritchett (Tracy); his grandchildren, Kimberly Davidson, Joshua Booth, Aaron Pritchett, Katelyn Pritchett, Cameron Pritchett, and Payton Pritchett; and his great-grandchildren, Taylor Davidson and Carson Pritchett. Mr. Pritchett served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War. He was a member of the Tuscaloosa Police Department and owned several automobile dealerships in Tuscaloosa for many years. He attended Northport Church of God. He was a gentle and loving person who will be dearly missed, but we know he is with his Lord. Pallbearers will be Aaron Pritchett, Joshua Booth, Cameron Pritchett, Johnathan Boothe, Wendell Tillman, and Marc Turner. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Anand Pandey, Sis. Mary Rhodes, Don and Jan Boothe, and Ken and LaJan Boothe.
