Joseph McCloskey Sr. TUSCALOOSA | Joseph McCloskey, Sr., age 81, of Tuscaloosa, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., died Wednesday, December 9, 2015, peacefully at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Jerry Deasy officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred McCloskey and son, Joseph McCloskey, Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Kim McCloskey; sisters, Bernadette Seyfert and Louise Ritchie; brother, Bernard McCloskey (Dolores); grandchildren, Zachery, Allyson and Ryan Euerle; and numerous nieces and nephews. The McCloskey family wishes to thank Amedysis Hospice for their compassion and care.
