Joseph Hall

Joseph William "Monk" Hall, age 79, of Moundville, died July 29, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Chuck Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. He was preceded in death by his son, William Jeffery Hall; infant daughter, Patsy Ann Hall; mother and father, Elzie and Addie Hall; and brother, Billy Gene Hall. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hall; two daughters, Shirley Howell (Mike) and Billie Sue Hall; a son, David Len Hall (Sheri); and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Buster King, Danny Spence, Ray Sullivan, Chris Shaw, Paul Lake, and Byron Kelley.
