Johnny B. Falls Johnny B. Falls, age 70, of Coker, Ala., died September 3, 2017. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Montgomery and Terrell Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Louella Rigsby Falls; seven brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Thomas David Pilkington. Survivors include his wife, Shelia Dunn Falls of Coker, Ala.; daughter, Patricia Falls Pilkington (Thomas) of Maben, Miss.; son, Phillip A. Falls (Stephanie) of Berry, Ala.; sisters, Mary Sue Taylor (Gilbert), Coraleen Duncan, Angilo Tunnell (I.B.), Paula Woolbright (Larry), Vanessa Pate (Farren), Karen Smith (Larry) and Barbara McMillian; brothers, Dewey R. Falls (Agnes) and Charley Falls (Dorothy); grandchildren, Jessica Falls (Paul Ledlowe), Katelyn Pilkington (Kalib Davis), Tyler Pilkington, Harrison Falls, and Nathan Falls; and great-granddaughter, Kaylyn Davis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was hard as nails and soft as cotton when it came to the ones he cared for. He will be saving us a seat at the table beside him in heaven. Pallbearers will be David Overton, Jerry Falls, Greg Walters, Mike Taylor, Gary Sanford, John Fleenor, Andy Champion, Randy Falls, Ed Sanford and Ricky Falls. Honorary pallbearers are employees of B.F. Goodrich, employees and patrons of Waffle House (Northport), and nursing staff of DCH Regional Medical Center ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phillips Chapel Church Cemetery Fund.
