Johnnie Nuckols

NORTHPORT - Johnnie Ruth Price Nuckols, age 75, of Northport, died October 22, 1018, at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at Campground United Methodist Church with Bro. Paul Wilson and Bro. Jimmy Holliman officiating. Burial will follow in Haygood Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be at her residence on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie W. Price and Alma Avery Price Kizziah.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Gorman Nuckols; daughter, Tammy Booth (Kim); son, Johnny Nuckols (Cindy); and grandchildren, Jennifer Hughes (Jesse) and Dusty Watson (Amber); great-grandson, Dylan Watson; and special aunt (sister) Faye Avery.
She worked as a nurse about 30 years at Partlow, West Alabama, Tuscaloosa VA, Hospice of West Alabama, Salem Nursing Home Reform and Caring Hands Hospice.
Honorary pallbearers are Northside community, Campground UMC, Jennings Chapel UMC, Dr. Debra Davis, Dr. Anne Lewis, Amedysis Home Health and Hospice, Rachel Pearson Pinkerton, Crystal Lovelady, Jamie Robertson, Candice Muniz, Damon Rose, Daphne Tice, Kelsey Turner and Samantha Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to your favorite charity.
