Johnnie Frances Mills TUSCALOOSA | Johnnie Frances Mills, age 79, of Tuscaloosa, died December 4, 2015, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Louis Johnson, Rev. Kenny Overstreet and Rev. Jerry Colburn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Mills "Tobe" and parents, Ruth and John Nevin. Survivors include her special baby girl, Betty Marcum (Gary); sisters, Pat Wyres Bovee and Betty Grace White Latham; grandson, Greg Marcum (Shea); great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Bella Ruth and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews. Johnnie loved Jesus most of all. She was a very loving person that was always giving everybody hugs. She never met a child she didn't love. Johnnie loved her church family. She spent a large portion of her life caring for others. She will especially be missed by her little dog, Pierre. Everyone loved Maw Maw Johnnie. Pallbearers will be David and Brandon Miller, Doug, Jimmy and Bob Freeman and James Timothy Wyres. Honorary pallbearers are Rosedale Baptist Church, Dr. and Mrs. Ethan Ruben, special friends on Meadowlawn Drive and also her extended family, Louis, Beth, Kaitlyn and Dillon Johnson.
