Johnnie Allen

Johnnie W. Allen, Sr., age 88, of Tuscaloosa, died June 23, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Dr. Herb Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Elna Allen; brothers, Clyde and Jerry; and sisters, Nancy Smith and Mary Bigham. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Allen; daughters, Shelia Watts and Teresa Foster (David); sons, John Wayne, David (Vickie), Johnnie W. Allen, Jr. and Sam; brother, James Allen (Sandra); 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Daniel Allen, Russell Allen, Chris Foster, Tyler Foster, Mike Fondren and Josh Hilliker.
