John was a husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather that will be deeply missed. His two main goals in life were to make people laugh, and to share with them the knowledge he'd gained in life. A self proclaimed nerd with a fondness for science fiction series, Dune, and Mathematician Sir Isaac Newton. He also was a great musician specializing in Tuba, upright bass, and drums. His Short time in the Navy gave him a respect and love for the U.S. Military. Believing that impacting someone positively was the best way to go through life, he helped with his church and even The Boy Scouts of America trying to help create a better future for his family and community. He was a true family man, making his friends and kids friends part of his family and always would help them when needed. Going through life to his final days with a positive attitude and still trying to teach, he was a true inpiration. Never meeting a stranger, he used to tell his son " You can tell the quality of a man by the people he surrounds himself with." John loved hid wife, Sandy, for over 43 years. They got engaged two weeks after their first date. They helped start a family that shares John's ideals and wishes to continue them. Rest in peace John knowing the future is better because of what you did to help shape it.
