Joe Price

Joe Pete Price, age 75, died October 7, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at Little Hurricane Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Price officiating. Burial will follow in Little Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel North. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Price; mother, Mary Ann Price; and brother, Clearean Price. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Price; daughters, Shanon Lyles (Jessie), Tammy Howton (Jeff) and Marsha Lee (Wayne); son, Derrick Price (Ashley); mother of children, Gwen Price; grandchildren, Haley, Olivia (Jerritt), Ally, Jay; and 6 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Derrick Price, Jay Lyles, Jerritt Mitchell, Ken Price, Ricky Price, Drew Blake and TJ Harrell. Honorary pallbearers are adopted daughters, Denise Blake and Robin Holliman Jones, BHS Class of '60 and friends and family of Brookwood. A special thanks to Robert Humber for helping take care of our daddy. Carolyn couldn't have made it without you. We love you. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
