Joana Duncan | FLEETWOOD Joana Duncan, age 91, of Fleetwood, died Jan. 15, 2012, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raiford O. Duncan; her daughter, Johnnie Claudette Hunnicut; and her parents, John C. and Della Mae Oates. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Styron, Joyce Styron, and Brenda Ferguson (Carlton); seven sons, Clarence Duncan (Peggy), Glenn Duncan (Rose), Olen Duncan, Waid Duncan (Sheila), Bruce Duncan, Dewayne Duncan, and Kim Duncan (Kaylene); and her sister, "Cat" Perkins. She was the mother of 11 children, 17 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her sons, Glenn Duncan, Olen Duncan, Waid Duncan, Bruce Duncan, Dewayne Duncan, and Kim Duncan.
