Jo Catherine Mosley NORTHPORT Jo Catherine Mosley, age 74, of Northport, passed away October 2, 2013. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Northport with Rev. Jerry Croft and Rev. Mike Spivey officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Houston Mosley; parents, Joe Raiford and Catherine Hardin Williams Rushing; and brother, Ray Rushing. She is survived by her children, Paula Anderson (DeWayne) of Texas, Bobbie Jean Rife (Jinxie) of Northport; stepson, Dan Mosley of New York; brother, Wayne Rushing (Jan) of Northport; sister-in-law, Rachel Rushing of Cottondale; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; aunts, Betty Phillips and Ann Walker (George) of Northport; and her other "furry children", Miss Tillie, Chester and Katie Sue, Daisy and Fancy who were her constant companions. Jo worked for Trust Department of Regions Bank, Focus on Senior Citizens, Reichold Chemical and The Landing. Pallbearers will be Darrel Hughes, Doug Collins, Udo Marx, David Andres, Calvin Jones, Ken Harrison, Ron Hood and Colin Barrett. Honorary pallbearers are special friends Darrel and Sara Hughes, Manderson Cancer Center, Hospice of West Alabama, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Northport at 700 Main Ave, Northport, AL 35476, West Alabama Humane Society or Hospice of West Alabama.
