Jimmy Whitman

Jimmy Lee Whitman (9-4-1965 - 1-18-2025) was a fun-loving, hardworking, God-fearing faith builder who loved to help others. Jimmy knew everyone, and if he didn't know you, give him a minute, and he could find a mutual friend. He loved to make people laugh and to bring a smile to everyone's face. Jimmy Lee had friends from all walks of life and loved them all the same. However, none of them could compare to his children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life.

On Saturday morning, Jimmy Lee could be found at the Cattle Barn doing what he loved: buying antiques and talking to anyone who would listen. However, Sunday was his favorite day of the week. That's when he could get back into the Lord's house. Jimmy Lee was a faithful Lomax Assembly of God and Old Macedonia Baptist Church member.

Jimmy Lee left behind a family who loved him beyond measure. His children survive him: Joshua (Katie) Whitman, Keri Whitman, Kristopher Binion, and Jordan Binion; grandchildren: Lillian, Walker, Amelia, Fowler, Jaxon, Easton, and Asher; Mother of his children Darleen Whitman; Mother: Sharon Dennis; Brothers: James (Roho) Whitman and Donald (Tammy) Whitman; Sisters: Diana Martin, Karen Robinson. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lawson Whitman, and sister, Debra Ann Easterling.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lomax Assembly of God with visitation being held at the church 2 hours prior. Magnolia Chapel South is directing.
