Jessie B. Burroughs BUHL Jessie B. Burroughs, age 90, of Buhl, died Jan. 6, 2013, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coker Church of God with Bro. Michael Feltman and Bro. David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Burroughs; his father, Matt Andrew Burroughs; his mother, Leatha Zoey Burroughs; his sisters, Gertha Duncan, Bertha Carracciolo, and Stella Channell; and his brother, Clayton Burroughs. Survivors include his daughters, Diane O'Hanlon (John) and Donna Hawthorne, both of Buhl; his son, Raymond Burroughs of Buhl; and his grandchildren, Robert Graham (Shelly) and Tina Burroughs. He was employed for over 40 years as an ironworker and loved to work in his gardens. Jessie B. never met a stranger, loved life, and loved his family. Poppa, we love you and we will miss you very much. Pallbearers will be Junior Posey, Elvis Pate, Julius Pate, Jessie Graham, Chance Coupland, Darrell Cargile, Roger O'Hanlon, and Jason Bartel. Honorary pallbearers are Amedisys Home Health Care, Amedisys Hospice, Ironworkers Local #92, and friends and neighbors of the Buhl and Coker communities.
