Jessica Genovese

Jessica Genovese, age 23, of Northport, died Jan. 23, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Montgomery and Rev. Larry Colburn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Kim Phillips, and sisters, Kelsey Phillips and Paige Phillips. Jessica was loved by many. She was very outgoing and full of life. She was always the life of the party and had a heart full of love for everyone. Jessica always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. She had a big heart and a big laugh. She will be missed dearly by all. Pallbearers will be Corey Boyette, Cliff Vickers, Brian Jones, Justin Phillips, Randy Phillips, and Austin Mallahan. Honorary pallbearers are the Northside community, MICU nurses and staff, and Hospice of West Alabama.
