Jerry Wayne Hagler NORTHPORT | Jerry Wayne Hagler, age 57, of Northport, died August 7, 2014, at home. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Arbor Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Pritchett and Bro. Richard Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Allie Hagler, Martin and Mary Rogers; and mother, Bertha Rogers Hagler Maddox. Survivors include his daughter, Jessie Savannah Hagler of Northport; son, Jared Neil Hagler of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Shelia Davis Hagler and Nancy Cone (Lee); brother, Marty Hagler (Celeste); father, O.S. "Doc" Hagler; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Kent Hagler, Richard Pritchett, David Foman, Jeff Johnson, Dan Lackey and Key Hayes. Jerry went peacefully home to be with the Lord August 7, 2014. Jerry's life was full of family, friends, and accomplishments. As an avid outdoorsman, he brought joy to the many that joined him fishing and hunting. As an accomplished musician, he brought fellowship to those joining in his picking and singing sessions. As an expert craftsman, he provided beautiful woodwork to many homes in the area, spending hours upon hours making each piece special. He Ioved his family, especially his children. Jessie brought many, many years of fun and adventure into his life. We are so thankful for the wonderful years God allowed Jerry to be here on earth. And we are eternally grateful for the saving, Ioving, merciful grace of God and the sweet presence of Jesus that provided Jerry hope, comfort, joy, and life everlasting. His Grace is Amazing. Honorary pallbearers are Harold and Bonnie Walters, Frank and Martha Campbell, Pam and Richard Pritchett, Jimmy Pritchett and family, Dwight Bingham and employees of Lakeland Grocery, Orbit Marcum, Aunt Anne and Aunt Coleen, Hagler Hunting Club, Doug and Riley Hollyhand, a host of other friends and family, Southern Care Hospice and special caregivers Jenna Moyer, Heather McDonald, and Alfreda Patton (Jenna. Your keys are In your car). Jerry Ioves you all very much and is so grateful to you.
