Jeremy Shane "Screech" Williams Columbia, S.C | Jeremy Shane "Screech" Williams, age 34 of Columbia, South Carolina died January 3, 2018 at the V.A. Hospital in Columbia, S.C. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Magnolia Chapel North at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Phillips Chapel Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Kooter and Clera Swindle, Tommy and Irene Williams and his sister; Rhonda Hallman. Jeremy is survived by his significant other Matt Watson, his sisters; Tonya Fussell (Wayne), Vicki Swindle (Lee), Melissa Spencer (Darryl), Gayla Brown (Joseph) and Alex Lewis, brothers; Gregory Williams (Jennifer), Troy Chaney, Sidney Lewis, and Brandon Lewis, his parents; Betty Hallman (Jerry), Jimmy Williams and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family. Jeremy was a 2001 graduate of Northside High School, following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving his time. He was always the life of the crowd when at family gatherings and he never met a stranger. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Pallbearers will be Kyle Rudowski, James Turner, Charles Saltzmann, Brandon Lewis, Wayne Fussell, and Lee "Pop" Swindle. Honorary pallbearers are The Northside High School class of 2001, and employees of Murray's Billiard and Grill in Lexington, South Carolina.
