Jennifer J. Hamner COKER - Jennifer Leigh Jones Hamner, age 45, of Coker, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from a 30 year long battle with Type One Diabetes. She was born February 25, 1972 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She was the daughter of James Terry Jones, Sr. (Ted) and Doris Marlene Jones. She will be remembered as a kind, loving mother, unbelievable friend, dog lover, loving wife, fruitful daughter and the best little sister someone could ask for. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James Daniel Hamner (Danny); two daughters, Kaitlyn Hamner and Danielle Vaughn and her husband Seth Vaughn; step-daughter, Alicia Gray; two grandkids, Ayla and Aubrey Elliot; one sibling, Jeff Jones and wife Jeanne Jones; niece, Allison Grace Jones and nephews, John Jones and Cody Thomas. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Jennings Chapel UMC with Rev. Ronnie Colburn and Rev. Matt Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
