Jean Jacobs

Jean M. Jacobs, age 78, of Northport, AL, passed away April 2, 2021 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Paul Wilson and Bro. Rick Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon "Dave" Jacobs; parents, Buford and Nettie Lou Montgomery; J.B. Montgomery (Bert), Wayne Montgomery (Frieda), Jerry Jacobs and other relatives.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda J. Camp (Tony); son, David Randall Jacobs; grandchildren, Landon Camp and Meagan Camp; nephews, Mike and Scott Montgomery; and other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Williamson, Tommy George, Bryan Smith, John M. Kuykendall, Todd Bolton and Gregg Allen.

Honorary pallbearers are Campground and Sulphur Springs Church families, lifelong friends, river friends, other close family relatives, Dr. Straughn and staff, UAB Women's Oncology, Dr. Debra Davis, Dr. Anne Lewis, Dr. Azam, St. Vincent's HHC, Hospice of West Alabama and Winn Dixie 43N staff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Campground Cemetery Fund.
