Janice Belcher

Janice Gulledge Belcher, age 65 of Tuscaloosa passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Following her request the family will hold a private service.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; William "Bill" Gulledge and Joann Wallace Gulledge.

She is survived by her two daughters Lauren Belcher and Amy Belcher, her grandchildren; Luke Belcher and Sissy Belcher, her brother; Billy Gulledge, and sisters; Dianne Lewis and Donna McCarty, and several nieces and nephews.

Our sweet mother and the worlds greatest "Maw Maw" went home to her Lord and Savior on none other than her mothers birthday. While we lost a best friend and a huge piece of our heart we know she is eternally home and free of sickness and pain.

Maw Maw's world revolved around her two girls and grandchildren. Her will to live and determination and strength was a daily testament to who she was. Strong, courageous and always putting her family before her own needs. We know today she would want no tears. She left this world knowing her girls would step right in and that's what we intend to do. Our hearts are broken but ultimately we know she is home.
