Jamie Norris

Jamie Elizabeth Huffaker Norris, age 96, died June 13, 2011, at Heritage Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham with Dr. Charles Durham officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Norris, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Kathlynne Gray (Dave) and Leighanne Elizabeth Oliver (Gary); son, George A. Norris III (Joanie); six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Tuscaloosa Civic Chorus, West Alabama Art Association, and a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers. the family request that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
