James Alvin "Jimmy" Oswalt MOORES BRIDGE | James Alvin "Jimmy" Oswalt, age 64, of Moores Bridge, died November 24, 2014, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2014, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Jerry Montgomery officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin C. Oswalt. Survivors include his wife, Sandra J. Oswalt; daughter, Amy O. Philpot (Ron); son, James A. Oswalt, Jr. (Lauren); sisters, Judy Lee (Mike) and Jane Freeman; brother, Clayton Lindsey (Ines); mother, Betty Lindsey; and grandchildren, Lucas, Logan and Larson Oswalt. Jimmy was a beloved son, brother, husband, dad, Paw Paw and friend to many. His greatest joys were his wife, kids and grandchildren. He leaves a legacy of hard work as well as play for all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Jack Sullivan, Woody Baggett, Billy Patton, Pete Wicker, Steve Harbin and Danny Anders. Honorary pallbearers are Moores Bridge Community and Hunting Club, Brownville, Montgomery and Mayfield communities, and former employees of Oswalt Construction.
