James Branyon Mixon COTTONDALE James Branyon "PapaDoc"� Mixon, age 84, of Cottondale, died Jan. 18, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Doug Reeves and Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his daughters, Reta Bailie (James) and Bonnie Spradley; his son, Mark Mixon (Carol); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
