James Lane NORTHPORT James Lane, age 57, of Northport, died March 27, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Alicia Rhodes officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Sabrina Lane, daughters, Angela Williams and Ashlie McCaa; sister, Debbie Lane, parents, Walter Lane and Christine Lane; grandchildren, Taylor Tucker, Zoey Taylor, Trinity Taylor, Jordan Johnson, and Jace Johnson. James was a resident of Northport, Alabama, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Forest High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a truck driver for over 30 years with 3 million miles driven. He loved to collect coins. He was a devoted husband for 24 years. He was loved by his parents, wife, children and grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Newman, Michael Newman, Michael Johnson, Jerry Thrower, John Hall, Carl Rhodes, David Blake, Charles Blake and Dustin Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers are Koch Trucking, McCoy and Ann Pitt, employees of Tuscaloosa Med Center North and South, Management Connection, Bill Suttles, David Lanham, Henry Earnest, and the Church of the Highlands.
