James H. Jones RALPH - James H. "Jimbo" Jones, age 64, of Ralph, Ala., died August 7, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Ed Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be today, August 9, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Jones. Survivors include his wife, Camille D. Jones; sons, Robert Coupland (Sheryl) and James S. Jones; sisters, Sherry Owens, Brenda Jones and Rhonda Irby; brother, David Jones; mother, Willie Cill Styres; five grandchildren; and two special friends, Pam Humphries and Wilbert Smith. Jimbo was a great man who loved people and who was very much loved back. He fought the disease (COPD) that took him from us since 2007. Jimbo worked for the City of Tuscaloosa DOT as a mechanic until he had to medically retire in 2012. He and Rob loved to fish and work on cars. We could write a book on his stories and laugh and cry at every one, just remembering how he told them. He will be greatly missed. He considered all of his co-workers family. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Sexton, Richard Deramus, Michael Strickland, Wilbert Smith, Kenneth Blackmon, James Allen Jones, Rob Coupland and Winford Strickland.
