James H. Farris TUSCALOOSA - James H. Farris, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, died February 2, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Jim Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Stella Farris and brothers, Johnny and Billy Farris. James was born May 4, 1941. He retired in 1993 after 28 years with B.F. Goodrich. Survivors include his wife Joyce Maxine Farris, Sons: Joseph Wade Farris and David Michael Farris Sisters: Ruble Prestridge, Marlene Brown, Mary Simmons and Peggy Burton, Brothers: George Farris, Jimmy Farris, Kenneth Farris, LaVaughn Farris, Grandchildren: Jenna Farris, Landon Boyd, Davy Farris, Dylon Farris, Josh Farris, Justin Farris and Great Grandchildren: Brantley Boyd.
