James Black

James Nathan Black, age 55, of Duncanville, died June 4, 2017, at his residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Hubbard Springs Church with Bro. Junior Stephens officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be today, June 6, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula Ruth Black and James Nelson Black and son, James Nathaniel Black. Survivors include his daughter, Rose Marie Dunn; sons, James Michael Hawthorne (Mallory) and Kenneth Lewis Hawthorne; and grandchildren, Isabella Black, Nolan Black, Remi Hawthorne, Riley Hawthorne, Tyler Parr and Syvanna Parr. Nathan was a great dad who loved his children more than life. He was a Godly man who loved the Lord with all of his heart. Pallbearers will be Mike Woodard, Terry Poole, Jimmy Poole, Johnny Poole, Roger Jarrell, Dwayne Coker, Kevin Poole and Richard Hawthorne. Honorary pallbearers are Alabama Hospice, Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, Wayne and Regina Poole, Randall Jarrell, Eternal Faith Church, Pam Clark, DCH Home Health and Jerry Lenar
