Jacob Lemuel "Billy" Livingston Jr.
TUSCALOOSA - Jacob Lemuel "Billy" Livingston, Jr., age 72, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away January 24, 2019. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Valley View Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Joy and Bro. Scott Livingston officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Akron, Alabama.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents Jacob Lemuel Livingston and Lula Lamae Ramey Livingston.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Trudy Langford Livingston; son, Jacob Scott Livingston and his wife, Angie of Tuscumbia; daughter, Stephanie Livingston Jones and her husband, Bryan of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren; Jacob and Kelsey Livingston and Addison and John David Wyatt.
Billy was born on September 11, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He graduated from Akron High School and attended the University of Alabama. He served in the United States Air Force in the 366 TFW "The Gunfighters" during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Da Nang from 1968-69. He spent 46 years working in the construction business. The majority of that time he served as Project Manager for N.C. Morgan Construction and Hall Taylor Construction. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, and he loved spending time with his family.
Pallbearers will be Michael Langford, Tony Dutton, Jason Mullenix, Kenneth Cheatwood, David Roberts and Keith Scott. Honorary pallbearer will be Buddy Ramey. Arrangements handled by Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South.
