Jack Earl Tunnell DUNCANVILLE | Jack Earl Tunnell, beloved brother, father and grandfather, passed away December 6, 2015, in McKinney, Texas. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lockhart Tunnell; father, William Nelson Tunnell; brothers, William Tunnell, L.G. Tunnell and J.T. Tunnell; and sister, Dallie Tunnell. Survivors include his daughters, Jackie Hatter (Ken), Donna Thomas (Gary) and Sherry Blowers (David); his son, Bill Tunnell; sisters, Doris Cook (James) and Elizabeth Lussier (John); brothers, Douglas Tunnell (Geneva) and Morris Tunnell (Wanda); sister-in-law, Consolata Tunnell; grandchildren, Brian Hatter (Alix), Aaron Hatter (Melissa), Garrett Thomas (Juliana), Jarrad Thomas (Katherine), Luke Thomas (Jenny), Cody Blowers (Lindsay), Jeremy Blowers (Rebecca), Dylan Blowers (Destiney), Zachary Tunnell and Jonathan Tunnell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Daddy was a hardworking, kind-hearted soul. He loved working in his garden and dancing and loved his friends and family. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Pallbearers will be Brian Hatter, Aaron Hatter, Garrett Thomas, Jarrad Thomas, Cody Blowers, Jeremy Blowers and Dylan Blowers. Honorary pallbearers are his loving great-grandchildren, Jarom Haslem, Dave Treanor, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints McKinney 7th Ward and Faith Presbyterian Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
