Hunter Daniel Grissom NORTHPORT Hunter Daniel Grissom, age 27, of Northport, died May 15, 2012. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, Miss. with Pastor Bryan Pippen officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his daughter, Anna-Grace Grissom; sister, Chloe Grissom; brother, D.J. Grissom; parents, Danny Grissom and Melanie and O.V. Garner; grandparents, Betty and Glen Grissom of Columbus, Miss., Joe Grissom of Aberdeen, Miss., and Bennie and Barbara Sellers of Hattiesburg, Miss.; special friend, Allison Moore; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be his brother, D.J. Grissom; his cousins, Louis Wilkinson, Carson Beard, Presly Prisock, Parker Prisock, and Ben Sellers; and friends, Jason Russell, Kyle Patton, and Brad Peffer. Honorary pallbearers are dedicated employees Dale, Will, and Greg; Gary King and Hansel King; Ricky Turner (Lake Inspector); Bambarger Wrecker Service; Trax Development; Lawrence Farm & Lumber; Mike, Linda, and Traci Davidson; Jim and Shelly Standridge; and Jimmy's Muffler Shop. The family would like to thank all the wonderful customers at Lake Tuscaloosa, and all his racing friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one's favorite charity.
