Hildred R. Johnson NORTHPORT | Hildred R. Johnson, age 83 of Berry died September 21, 2016 at home. Services will be held on Saturday September 24, 2016 at Magnolia Chapel North at 11:00am with Bro. Jackie McAteer and Bro. Dan Turman officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow at Carollwood Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Johnson, Sr. ; parents, Lonzo and Della Robertson; sisters, Baby Dottie and Mildred Hudson and her brothers, Eulie and Edward Robertson. Survivors include her sons, Fred W. (Emily) Johnson, Jr. of Gordo and Jimmy Dale (Diane) Johnson of Tuscaloosa, sisters; Trudy Hickman of Carrolton, and Linda (Jackie) McAteer of Northport, brothers; Coleman (Margarie) Robertson, of Columbus, Marshall (Nell) Robertson and Winston (Mavis) Robertson all of Gordo, grandchildren; Torrey (Annie) Johnson of Gordo, Quinn (Hunter) Williams of Tuscaloosa, Niki Johnson of Carrolton, Macy (Rocky) Johnson of Tuscaloosa, Keith (April) Bonner and Kasey (Tiffani) Lee of Tuscaloosa and 14 great grandchildren. Hildred was a homemaker and Peco chicken farmer for 20 years, Licensed Practicle Nurse at 62, born again at 13 and never had a doubt. Faith in God through Jesus Christ, taught two sons to be the best they can be. A special note to Maw Maw from your grandchildren and great grandchildren; You will always be a blessing to us and we are joyful because your finally resting with our Lord Jesus. Thank you so much for the wonderful and fun filled memories you provided for 2 generations! You loved us, you taught us, and you prayed for us. We will always cherish you. We love you Maw Maw! Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Heritage Health Care Center, and extended family and friends.
