Hilda Burns

Hilda Weaver Burns, age 79, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away July 28, 2018 at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Magnolia South with Don Springer officiating. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mordacai and Gertrude Hallman; first husband, Dickey Weaver, Sr.; sister, Jimmie Nell Simmons; and brother, J.L. Hallman.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Burns, Jr.; daughters, Stephanie Geer (Ricky) and Donna Roy (Robert); sons, Dickey Weaver, Jr. (Shelia) and Mike Burns; grandchildren, Dickey Weaver, III, Ashley Ford (Anthony), Dana Weaver (Josh), Ricky Geer, Jr. (Kristin), Brandy White (Andy), Jennifer Burns, Ronnie Roy (Elizabeth) and Christopher Watts (Celina); and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Geer, Jr., Anthony Ford, Andy White, Alex Krallman, Moody Burns and Ronnie Roy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grants Creek Baptist Church or Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
