Harry F. Glenn ALICEVILLE Harry F. Glenn, age 87, passed away November 22, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Glenn; his parents W.T. and Blanche Glenn; and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara; his children, Franklin (Tina), Susan Jones (Joe), and Alan (Sharon); grandchildren, Danah Minges (Marcus), Will Glenn (Tiffani), Wendy Poff (Ricky), Jack Jones (Lee Ann), Austin Glenn, Abby Glenn, LeeAnne Gregory (Josh), and Sabrina Sims; great-grandchildren, Maxwell Minges, Braxton, Allie Brett, and Chance Glenn, Asher, Sofie, Briley, and Ryker Poff, Gabriel Jones, Preston, Allie Paige, and Ace Gregory, and Brooklyn Sims. Harry was born in Lynn, Arkansas. He farmed in Arkansas, the Mississippi Delta, and West Alabama with his brother, Loyd. After retiring from farming he enjoyed delivering trucks for Teco and later driving log trucks. He was a kind hearted man who loved to help anyone in need. He was a member of the Aliceville Church of Christ. He was "a real dandy" and will be missed greatly. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Aliceville Church of Christ with Tommy Blakney officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Magnolia Chapel South will be handling arrangements.
