Hallie A. Jenkins MOUNDVILLE - Hallie A. Jenkins, age 80, of Moundville, Ala., died November 12, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Bill Curtin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Jenkins. Survivors include his daughters, Lita Roulaine of Moundville and Laresa Hendrix (John); sister, Betty Savage of Tuscaloosa; brother, Louie Jenkins (Mable) of Pinson, Ala.; granddaughters, Angela O'Quinn (Mike) of Moundville, Amanda Roulaine of Moundville and Haley Agee of Tuscaloosa; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy O'Quinn and Matthew O'Quinn. Hallie was retired from Bryce Hospital and also worked as a security guard at the University of Alabama for 16 years. He loved Alabama football and his family was his pride and joy. Pallbearers will be Chris Hildreth, Jordan Hendrix, Andy Kelley, Bob Roulaine, John Bradshaw and Ray Johnston. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, 5N at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Maria Munoz, Alacare in Tuscaloosa and Dr. Larry Skelton and staff. The family would like to give a special thanks to the many caregivers that went above and beyond to keep him comfortable and happy which are Patricia Vanhorn, Angie James, Mary Ann Jones, Burnette Robertson, Helen Shelton and Linda Hambright. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of Alabama.
