Glenda F. Harbin TUSCALOOSA | Glenda F. Harbin, age 64, of Tuscaloosa, passed away December 15, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Patrick Branch and Bro. Albert Lyles officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sallie Harbin; and brothers, Wayne Harbin and Rickey Harbin Sr. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Harbin (Peggy); sisters, Mary H. Burroughs, Judy Burns (Butch), Sheila Harbin and Tammy McLemore; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Joey Harbin, Jason Harbin, Rick Harbin Jr., Devin Haun, Hunter Harbin, Damon Haun, Josh Freeman, and Johnny Haun. Honorary pallbearers include the Oak Grove community, Donna Spencer, Janie Meaney, Gene, Owen and Betty Barron, Lulu and Johnny Gray, Doug Lavender, George and Carolyn Harbin, former employees of Olympia Mills and General Motors, members of the Big Sandy community, Virgil Miller, Laurel Campbell and 6th floor nursing staff of DCH, Englewood-Hulls VFD, Robert Stone, staff of Tuscaloosa Internal Medicine and Dr. John Warren, Dr. John Summerford, and Dr. Ross Vaughn. "I fall asleep in the full and certain hope that my slumber shall not be broken; and that though I be all-forgetting, yet shall I not be forgotten, but continue that life in the thoughts and deeds of those I loved."
