Inez Greer Holt

Gladys Inez Greer Holt, 85, formerly of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, in Northport, AL, after a period of declining health.

Ms. Holt was born in Kingsport, was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church, and had lived in Northport, AL for the past 40+ years. She was a loving mother, a wonderful homemaker and an avid antique collector.

Ms. Holt was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Nell Kite Greer and brothers, Ray and Wayne Greer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Vanessa Holt Hopper and husband, Larry, James Patrick Holt and wife, Brenda and Christopher Greer Holt; grandchildren, Nathan Hopper, Hannah Hopper Beck and husband, Greg and Sydnie Holt; sister, Faye Greer Foulk and husband, Roy; brothers, Gilmer Greer and Jackie Greer and wife, Relda; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 pm – 12:45 pm Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the Fireside Room. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Resurrection with Rev. Amy Sumrall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingsley United Methodist Church, 2828 Bloomingdale Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
