MOUNDVILLE - George R. Waggoner, age 69, of Moundville, Ala., passed away February 7, 2019 at Moundville Health & Rehab. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Bruce LeVan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Waggoner; parents, Mary Virginia and Thomas Waggoner; brothers, Thomas and William Waggoner; and sister, Shirley Waggoner.
Survivors include his sisters, Virginia Williams, Kathy Hollis, Frances Price and Patricia Burroughs; brother, Emmette Waggoner; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Waggoner, Jeff Hollis, Jeremy Hollis, Tyler Hollis, Cameron Hollis and William Chad Spencer.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton, and nurses and staff of Moundville Health & Rehab.
