NORTHPORT } Geneva V. Strickland, age 94, of Northport, Alabama, died April 14, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Roger Lucus officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson City Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar L. Strickland, Sr.; two sons, Bobby and Junior Strickland; infant daughter and her granddaughter, Dana Criss.

Survivors include her two daughters, Dean Gilliland and Betty Oliver (Doug); two sons, Ottis Strickland and Tim Strickland (Christy); four sisters, Bonnie Strickland, Alma Presnall, Mabel Kirk and Peggy Wise; one brother, Paul Anderson; and a host of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Pallbearers will be family members. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ross Vaughn and staff, Hunter Creek Health Care and DCH MICU staff.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
