Dr. Geneva Ann Claybrook, age 71, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Ron Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens Mausoleum with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Claybrook and parents, Rufus Dodd, Jr. and Opal Frances Dodd. Survivors include her sons, Byron Claybrook (Danyale), Jay Claybrook (Jennie) and Scott Claybrook; and grandchildren, Danielle Montgomery (Caleb), Kathryn Elaine Claybrook, Lexie Claybrook and Victoria McCray. Dr. Geneva Ann Claybrook was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 19th, 1946. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and completed a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology in 2007. She was ordained by Daystar Ministries International and Joan Hunter Ministries. Dr. Claybrook was a faithful member of Church of the Highlands and the author of "Are You Willing to Pick One?" She was a generous and godly woman who loved people and was loved by many.
