Gail Patterson

Gail Yvonne Hanks Patterson, age 63, of Northport, formerly of Winfield, died Jan. 23, 2012. Services will be 12 noon Friday at Flatwoods Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Survivors include her husband, William Leroy Patterson; her daughter, Stacey Sullivan Cole (Willie); her sons, Jason Owens Sullivan (Michelle), Roy Dale Patterson, and William Shannon Patterson (Connie); her brothers, Louis Bertrand Hanks Jr., Gary Eugene Hanks, and Thomas Allen Hanks; her parents, Louis and Margaret Hanks; her mother and father-in-law, Pat and Ezell Patterson; and her grandchildren, Erin Sullivan, Gabe Hough, Logan Cole, Trevor Cole, Haley Patterson, Brantlee Patterson, and Parker Patterson. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, and will be deeply missed. She retired from Wal-Mart in Northport after 15 years of service. She loved her family and grandchildren, who were the love of her life. Pallbearers will be Terry Holland, Ken Sexton, Duel McBride, Howard Miller, Shane Cutler, Kendall Patterson, Luke Miller, Gavin Miller, Brent Sutton, and Doyle Burns. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Wal-Mart in Northport, Dr. Stephen Browne and staff, Sheila Cox, Carol Sutton, neighbors and friends of Saratoga Estates, and members of Unity Baptist Church.
