Freda Robertson TUSCALOOSA - Freda Robertson, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, died July 17, 2016, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Donald Robertson and Rev. Leonard Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Christine Turner and one sister, Judy Vickery. Survivors include her husband, Donald Robertson; sons, Donnie Robertson (Donna) and Jason Robertson (Teresa); grandchildren, Josh Robertson (Magen), Justin Robertson, Anna Robertson and Amanda Robertson; and great-grandchild, Rhett Robertson. Mrs. Robertson ""Granny Mother"" was a loving and caring spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She made a home of love for her family. She had a special love for God's creatures especially her puppy dogs and kitty cats. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Mike Sheper, her veterinarian, who cared for all of her animals. Pallbearers will be Josh, Justin, Kip, Marty, Jimmy, Stacy and David ""Bubba"" Robertson. Honorary pallbearers are Steve and Trish Hannah, Mike and Cindy Hannah, Thurston and Dean Townsend, Bobby and Carroll Owens, a special thanks to her doctors, Dr. Clint McEntyre. Dr. Jennifer Burdette, Dr. Warren Holley, Dr. Ford Simpson, Collen Tucker and all of the nurses from Amedisys.
