Frances Lorene (Sue) Sanford NORTHPORT | Frances Lorene (Sue) Sanford, age 77, of Northport, died November 28, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Jerry Montgomery and Bro. Tim Tindle officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Sellers and mother, Geneva Sellers; and grandparents, Glover and Mattie Cockrell and Elijah and Annie Sellers. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Chester C. Sanford; daughters, Carol Neely (Travis) and Connie Patterson (Scott); sisters, Betty Storey (Alvis) and Ann Mize (John); brothers, Melvin Sellers (Ann), Morgan Sellers (Jane) and Mike Sellers (Donna); and grandchildren, Faith Neely, Grace Patterson, Hope Neely, Matthew Patterson and Mark Patterson. Frances was born and raised in Eutaw, Alabama. She graduated from Greene County High School and Business School. She retired from Duckworth Morris Insurance. Pallbearers will be Marty Sellers, Lin Sellers, Johnathan Mize, Jason Mize, Brad Sellers, Tyler Sellers and Junior Pallbearers: Matthew Patterson and Mark Patterson. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, Alacare Home and Hospice, Dr. Keith Debell, and friends and neighbors of Union Chapel Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
