Frances Johnson

BROOKWOOD- Frances Windham Johnson, age 71, of Brookwood, AL, died October 18, 2018, peacefully, with her loved ones at her bedside. Services will be held at Community Baptist Church of Havana with Pastor Jerry Koster officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on October 21, 2018. Burial will follow at the Church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Lois Windham; her husband, Richard Johnson; her son Ricky Johnson; and her three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Stewart (Steve) of Tuscaloosa, MaryBeth Falls (Eric) of Brookwood, and Katie Brady (Michael) of Lakeview; her son Wendell Johnson (Angie) of Brookwood; three sisters and three brothers; her grandchildren , Wesley Johnson, Morgan Johnson (James), Kyle Johnson (Aaron), Thomas Johnson, Hope Stewart, Briley Brady, Aaron Falls, Chase Brady, Lily Eaton, Lola Eaton, and Cullen Brady; and her great grandchildren, Kylie Whatley, Kylie Johnson, Peyton Johnson, and Brylee Johnson.

Frances caught everyone's attention wherever she was, she never met a stranger and she was a sassy little jokester who knew how to make an entrance.. More than anything though, Frances was a strong Christian woman and a faithful servant of the Lord all the way up until her last breath. She never missed an opportunity to minister to anyone she came in contact with. Frances loved her family with her whole heart, spending time with them was her favorite thing to do, especially her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and she will be missed by so many, but she leaves her loved ones with comfort in knowing exactly where she is rejoicing now.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Johnson, Eric Falls, Aaron Falls, Michael Brady, Josh Eaton, and Kyle Johnson.
