Frances Stamps Fields NORTHPORT Frances Stamps Fields, age 81, of Northport, died June 30, 2012. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florene Poole Jones and Walter Glenn Jones; her sisters, Juanita Jones, Catherine Jones, and Gloria Jean Jones McPhearson; and her brothers, Bobby R. Jones and Buddy Jones. Survivors include her daughters, Diane Turner, Frankie Dollar (Ed), Barbara L. Phillips, and Nelda Marie Kilgore; her sons, Steve Stamps (Ann), Michael Stamps, and Glenn Stamps; her sister, Carolyn Carroll; her brother, David F. Jones; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Frances has always been a homemaker, caring for her seven children and loving all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed her flower garden and took pride in their beauty. Our precious mother will be dearly missed. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are members of Moose Lodge #804, doctors and nurses of DCH, and Glen Haven Nursing Home.
