Eugenia Beard

Eugenia A. Beard, age 82, of Aliceville, died Aug. 30, 2011, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Gary Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Bone Camp Methodist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. and Hester Gray Beard; her brothers, Thurman, Calvin, Grover, and Joe Beard; and her sisters, Nettie Sanders and Ethel Hopkins. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Gladden of Fosters, and a host of nieces and nephews. Eugenia was loved by all. She always had a big smile and never forgot anyone. She was a happy and loving person and loved from the heart. She will be missed by all. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers are doctors, nurses, and staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home and members of Chapel Hill Church.
