Erline Baines Miles EUTAW | Erline Baines Miles, age 83, of Eutaw, died August 14, 2014, at Greene County Hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Mesopotamia Cemetery with Rev. Deborah Born officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Miles; parents, Tom and Mae Williams Baines; sister, Barbara Baines Williams; nephews, Bill Whitfield and David Baines; and brother-in-law, James Whitfield. Survivors include her sister, Merle Baines Whitfield of Eutaw, Ala.; brother, Thomas Baines (Charlotte) of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Sandra W. Hamilton (Jacky) of Nashville, Tenn., Cheryl W. Coblentz (Ron) of Birmingham, Ala., Linda B. Claridge (Johnny) of Fort Worth, Texas, Jan Landolt (Bobby) of Greensboro, Ala., and Jean McCarter (Bill) of Demopolis, Ala.; great-nieces and nephews, Paige Hamilton, Hannah Coblentz, Kyndal Coblentz, Tristin Whitfield Lee, Taylor Hamilton, Tyler Landolt, Ben McCarter, Rob McCarter and Brandon Claridge. Erline was a member of the Eutaw Christian Church. She graduated from Greene County High School. Pallbearers will be Jacky Hamilton, Ron Coblentz, Ben McCarter, Bill McCarter, Horace Hitt, Larry Magee, James Wilson and Jack Johnston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Eutaw Methodist Church or Greene County Ambulance Service.
