Era Lynn Smith AKRON Era Lynn Smith, age 86, of Akron, died April 19, 2013, at Moundville Health and Rehab. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Stewart United Methodist Church with Tom Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Smith; her son, Freddie Smith; her daughter, June Johnston; and her parents, Judge and Delma Phares. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Pam Smith; and her grandchildren, Kelly Johnston (Rachel), Kevin Johnston (Holly), and Kenny Johnston (Brooke). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed. Pallbearers will be Kelly Johnston, Kevin Johnston, Kenny Johnston, Jared Johnston, Kaleb Johnston, and Jimmy Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Watkins, Jean Greenwood, Gene Ann Watkins, Dr. Larry Skelton, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Hoggle, Moundville Health and Rehab staff, Stewart United Methodist Church family, and caring sitters over the years.
