Eoline Johnson

Eoline Johnson, age 83 of Greensboro passed away June 19, 2019, at Colonial Haven Nursing Home. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Greensboro Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Dee McGuire , Rev. Chad Palmer and Rev. Steve Vernon officiating. Burial will follow at Greensboro Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Greensboro Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; John Douglas and Gertrude Morgan Trippe, brother; Jack Calvin Trippe, sister-in-law; Mary Dell Trippe, and former husband; Alfred (Sweet Pea) Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters; Jenny Hughey (Greg), Mary Moore (Harold), Sister in law; Susan D. Trippe, brother; Walter Trippe, grandchildren; Travis Hughey (Lindsey), Katie Davidson (Brandon), Alyssa Howell (Cody), great grandchildren; James Hughey, Lanie Hughey, Rylie Jayne Howell and her grand dog pork chop.

Pallbearers will be Travis Hughey, Brandon Davidson, Cody Howell, Mike Trippe, Travis Jenkins, Ray Duncan, Johnny Morris, and Finley James.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Colonial Haven Nursing Home, staff of Southern Care Hospice - New Beacon Hospice.
