Elsie Bedsole

Elsie T. Bedsole MOUNDVILLE Elsie T. Bedsole, age 87, of Moundville, died April 11, 2013. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Moundville Methodist Church with Rev. William Curtin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Bedsole; her brothers, John Tingle and James Tingle; her sister, Ora Tingle Beckham, her mother, Alma McClain Tingle; and her father, Ernest Tingle. Survivors include her sons, Melvin Terry Bedsole (Geneva) of Moundville and Kenneth Edwin Bedsole (Mary Beth) of Daphne; brother, Therman Tingle; grandchildren, Gary Bedsole (Stephanie), Michael Bedsole, John Bedsole (Amy), and Terri Lynn Wallace (Erol); and great-grandchildren, Maddie and Garrett Bedsole, James Wallace, and Thomas Bedsole. Mrs. Bedsole worked as a secretary at Moundville Elementary School for 20 years. She was an active member of Moundville United Methodist Church and was involved in many community organizations.
