Elouise Goins Montgomery, age 84, died November 21, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be 12 noon, Friday November 25, 2016 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Brother-in-law, James Walker and Son-in-law, Ted Sessoms officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Chapel South with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Mildred Goins; husband, Morris Montgomery; daughter, Wanda; brothers, Crawford, Morris, Frank and Kenneth; and one sister, Alice. Survivors include her daughter, Terri Sessoms (Ted); sons, Mike Montgomery (Phyllis), Todd Montgomery (Debra); sisters, Janice Walker (James), Christine Herndon (Amond); sisters-in-law, Gloria Goins, Lorene Goins, Margaret Goins; grandchildren, Michael, Alison, Cassie, Ryan, Miranda, Kyleigh, Housten and Hannah; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Elouise was born in Cottondale, Ala. on April 25, 1932. She was the oldest daughter of Dalton and Mildred Goins. She had seven siblings and was married to Morris Montgomery June 5, 1954. Being married to a career veteran, she was able to live in many different cities and states. She was very active in bowling; she served on the board of directors of WIBC and participated in different leagues for over 35 years. She traveled with her bowling buddies all across the United States to participate in tournaments and received many trophies, awards and accolades in the sport she loved. Pallbearers will be Michael, Mason, Matthew Sessoms, Ryan Montgomery, Houston Burch and Drew Ryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Arbor Springs Baptist Church, Englewood Baptist Church and Hargrove United Methodist Church and special friend, Dene Toxey.
