Elizabeth Shirley

Elizabeth Dearman "Pee Wee"� Shirley, age 69, of Gordo, died October 13, 2011 at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Olivet (Beaver Dam) Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ray Woolbright officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shirley; her infant daughter; her son, Chuck Shirley; two brothers; two sisters; and her parents, Haley and LulaAnn Dearman. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Donna Shirley; her sons, Greg Shirley (Cindy) and Haley Shirley (Doris); her step-daughter, Sonja Baldwin; her brothers and sisters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; and 13great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Lavender, Kirk Volunteer Fire Department, Amedisys Home Health, and many other friends and relatives.
